Learning and Development Advisor - Remote
Due to internal promotion, Mary's Meals International is delighted to be recruiting for a Learning and Development (L&D) Advisor to join the People and Culture team. Reporting to the L&D Lead, you will play a key role in delivering the L&D strategy across Mary’s Meals. You will have responsibility for scoping, designing, developing and delivering a range of new and engaging learning interventions, from e-learning to virtual workshops, to support our strategic aims.
As a key member of the global L&D team, you will coordinate L&D activities and development programmes and advise and support staff on all aspects of L&D from personal development to use of the learner management system (LMS). You will play a key role in the ongoing development of our learning culture across the global Mary's Meals family, as we strive to reach the next childing waiting for Mary’s Meals.
Key duties include:
- Collaborate across the organisation to scope and define learning outcomes, work with subject matter experts to design learning materials and determine the best methodology for delivery.
- Lead on the creation of digital learning assets, such as e-learning modules and videos, using our existing digital learning tools and exploring new ways to engage learners through innovative digital solutions.
- Identify and promote opportunities for creating digital and social learning solutions that are accessible and inclusive across the global Mary's Meals family.
- Evaluate learning interventions to ensure their impact is measured and cost effective, making recommendations for improvement and supporting the continuous improvement of the L&D offering.
- Guide and advise line managers to help them identify learning and development needs within their teams, and in scoping viable and cost-effective solutions.
- Plan and coordinate L&D programmes and initiatives, sending timely and accurate communications.
- Support with the administration of training programmes and events as needed and carry out administration of the LMS and other administrative tasks.
We are looking for:
- Experience working within a varied L&D role, with experience of all stages of the learning cycle and current knowledge of adult learning theories.
- Experience in designing and developing digital learning solutions; with proven experience of designing e-learning, preferably using a self-authoring tool such as Adapt.
- Experience of coordinating, delivering and evaluating high-quality and engaging online and blended training programmes.
- Good facilitation skills, with experience of delivering workshops in a virtual environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn new digital tools and systems.
- A creative, positive and organised approach with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
