We are looking for an inspiring Head of Media and Content to join our UK Communications Team. This pivotal role will work side-by-side with the Head of Marketing to ensure an integrated approach to all communications activities through the combining of strong storytelling and marketing expertise.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to drive continued growth through engagement with new and existing supporters. The role will also be part of the MMUK Extended Leadership Team.
Key duties:
- Develop and implement Mary’s Meals’ media and PR, content, and internal communications strategy in the UK.
- Generate and implement creative media campaigns and opportunities (in close collaboration with the global communications team, where relevant).
- Proactively build excellent working relations with journalists and communications partners.
- Oversee UK campaigns, such as match funding campaigns, and support the promotion of major events.
- Manage the consistent implementation of Mary’s Meals’ brand, key messages and style guide in UK communications activities and resources.
- Lead the production of content across all earned, owned and paid channels, including managing copywriting and design priorities.
- Oversee the production of supporter materials such as letters, leaflets and magazines.
- Identify, develop and manage relationships with celebrities and well-known people.
- Direct line management of the Media and Content Managers (two x part time) offering ongoing support and wider development.
