The Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring income and expenditure are recorded in the accounting system in an accurate and timely manner, that expenditure is appropriately authorised, and that payments are accurately and efficiently processed. 

Key principles include:

• Administration of the legacy income process including creating legacy cases on Salesforce, communicating with solicitors and personal executors, and ensuring all documentation and information is recorded on Salesforce.
• Preparing and reconciling reports for recording income on Salesforce and in the accounting system. This includes the analysis and reconciliation of all income-related reports.
• Ensuring that income and expenditure are recorded in the accounting system in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that expenditure is appropriately authorised, and that payments are accurately and efficiently processed.
• Supporting the wider finance team in any finance-related matters.
• Dealing with a range of finance-related queries, both internal and external as they arise.
• Contributing to team meetings and organisational priorities.
• Abiding by organisational policies and practices, and Mary's Meals' values.
