We are delighted to be recruiting for an inspirational and strategic leader to join Mary’s Meals International, as Director of National Affiliate Growth. Reporting to our Chief Growth Officer and working as a key member of our Growth Leadership team, you will develop and drive strategy to grow our National Affiliate network, with the aim of increasing global annual revenue and developing sustainable paths to grow income and our movement, as we strive to reach the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals.
Leading our Affiliate Growth team in MMI and providing advice and support to our global team of Executive Directors who lead our National Affiliates, your focus will be accelerating rapid growth across our network, leading on the development of innovative approaches to grow our grassroots movement and diversify income streams.
You will have the opportunity to work in close partnership with our National Affiliates and International Fundraising Groups and you will coach and oversee our National Affiliate Forum to encourage support collaboration and cohesion across the global family. You will also lead on the strategic planning processes, reporting and frameworks to support simplicity, service and stewardship across our global movement.
You will:
- Mentor existing International Fundraising Groups as they work to becoming a National Affiliate
- Support existing National Affiliates to prioritise and coordinate their strategic priorities, continually encouraging new initiatives to support growth, ensuring they have the right skills, tools, training and insights to do so.
- Oversee and guide the development and execution of a global faith based strategy, designed to create opportunities for engagement across different faith audiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness of our movement.
- Oversee and guide the youth engagement programme to create a platform for young people across the globe to engage with Mary’s Meals and raise awareness both in National Affiliates and in the international space.
- Train and lead the team in new ways of approaching growth strategies as well as applying and teaching excellent practices that focus on growth and continuous improvement.
- Establish and build strong relationships with National Affiliate Boards, key employees and volunteers and cultivate new relationships where there is an opportunity to grow the network.
An experienced senior leader, you will bring proven experience of growing income streams, developing strategy, building capacity and leading teams through rapid organisational growth and change. You will thrive in a fast-paced global environment where you will have the opportunity to influence, lead and forge new partnerships to support the growth of our movement.
You will also need:
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven experience of cultivating strong relationships and ability to effectively represent Mary’s Meals at a local and international level.
- Experience of leading within a complex organisational structure with a blend of autonomy and connection.
- Experience of leading successful projects across a culturally diverse, remote-first organisation.
- Developing and successfully implementing strategies, policies and procedures.

We have a remote-first approach to work and are happy for you to work remotely and flexibly, in a way that best supports your work life balance. we also have an office near Glasgow city centre for those who live nearby and would like to work from here occasionally or on a regular basis.
